Literacy Narrative Self-assessment

This essay helped me learn how to take criticism and apply it to my writing. But I think I fell short of the course learning outcome. I didn’t get a chance to peer review and improve my essay since I am handing it in late. I learned how to address a wide range of audiences with my vocabulary. I didn’t have evidence and sources to use But I tried to use a good sense of vocabulary to keep the reader engaged while I told my story. It was also hard for me to develop strategies and go more in depth to the story. I could’ve added more figurative language to describe the events and what happened. I used a limited range of strategies and rhetorical devices and I will improve as I go on to write essays with sources and research.
